When we was kids cartoons were so much better than now.  Mostly that’s due to how the characters were the cool ones like they don’t have now.   Take for instance the superfriends.  Nowadays you couldn’t get Superman, and Batman & Robin, to all join up forces with the likes of Aquaman and Wonderwoman because these days it would all be divided along the lines of liberals and conservatives.  And you could tell even back then that Aquaman was a tree hugger because he never killed any of those sea animal and was always worried about offending them.  And plus Wonderwoman would have to line up on the liberal side because she is a woman and the conservative guys like Superman and Batman would just be like, yo, a woman can’t fight evil with us.  Robin was a different story because even then they had don’t ask don’t tell policy in the hall of justince.

But in these days it would be a divided house, also with the Wonder Twins who are coming from a different generation and so have a different perspective on things.  Like Generation X.  Now probably they wouldn’t want to get pigeon holed into just being some kind of animal or a state of water.  The big problem now too is that cartoons are on all the time.  And so now the kids think the Constitution gives them the right to watch cartoons all day, every day.  NOt like when we were little and Donahue had to come on sometimes too.

It was better when you only got to watch it for a few hours on Saturday morning and you would get up early and be good to see them.  Also meaning sleeping late for parents or maybe they can go fish or sleep off a party while the kids are not going to move from in front of that tv set because it’s only once a week this will hapen.  Now kids think cartoons are like MTV and should just be kept on all the time like a Bon Jovi video in the background.  But guess what…not hot girls on cartoons now either.
