Jerry Yang… dumbass
Yahoo stock dropped today (15% + as of 2:30PM) because of the botched deal with Microsoft, even after Balmer sweetened the pot to 47.5 Billion . Everybody loves to hate MS, me included at times, I think their operating systems and database solutions are second rate yet functional, but no CIO will be fired for using MS in their enterprise. However, one of Yang’s primary directives as CEO is to protect the stockholders, how’s that working out Jerry boy? Ego has gotten into the way buddy. Now he has to deliver one hell of a turnaround (fast) or he’s out on his ass quicker than you can say “Steel Magnolias sucked”.

Yahoo! may be further in the sack with Google than is being reported. Why else would they go off and buy an ad delivery system, then turn right around and try to partner with Google to serve up ads for them.
Prediction–Microsoft will buy some other ad network. They’ve got the cash and shown they’re ready to spend it, plus they have to do something for their shareholders to justify the beating their stock took trying to take over Yahoo! As soon as that happens, Yahoo! and Google will announce their partnership/merger–can’t happen right now due to antitrust issues.

Yup, Jerry Yang is one hellavu idiot. Pride, ego, what a moron. Their stock just keeps going down, down, down. Should have taken M$’s deal when they had the chance.
